Good Governance

Good Governance

Transparent Service, Empowered Ward: Building Trust in Every Household.

Good governance is the foundation of trust between the local government and citizens in Chandrakot Rural Municipality. When public services are fast, honest, and easy to access, every family across all eight wards feels respected, valued, and fully supported in their daily lives.

We commit to modernizing public services in every ward office, from Ward 1 Divrung to Ward 8 Turang. Citizens will no longer need to travel long distances or wait in long lines to receive simple recommendation letters, birth certificates, or business registrations. We will activate digital service centers in all ward offices and send direct mobile text updates about administrative work. To make sure public funds are used transparently, we will organize regular public hearings in village centers such as Shantipur, Majuwa, and Harachaur. Every project budget, tender detail, and expenditure report will be published clearly for public review.

We will establish a simple grievance response system where residents can share complaints or ideas by phone or in person. Local ward staff will receive regular training to treat every citizen with fairness and respect. Special arrangements will be made so that senior citizens, single mothers, and people with disabilities receive their government social security allowances directly at their local ward offices or homes without delay. Through honest work, open communication, and simple digital services, Chandrakot will become a peaceful and reliable local government for all.
