Healthcare is a fundamental right and the foundation of a healthy, productive, and prosperous society. Every citizen of Chandrakot Rural Municipality deserves access to affordable, accessible, reliable, and quality healthcare services, regardless of income, location, age, or social background. Strengthening local health facilities, promoting preventive healthcare, and improving public awareness can reduce avoidable illnesses, ease the financial burden on families, and improve the overall quality of life.
We are committed to improving healthcare services across all eight wards of Chandrakot Rural Municipality. Our priorities will include strengthening existing health posts and healthcare facilities, improving the availability of essential medicines and basic diagnostic services, ensuring adequate healthcare personnel, and promoting timely access to emergency care. We will prioritize maternal and child health, immunization, nutrition, senior citizen care, and support for persons with disabilities and economically disadvantaged families. Regular health camps, mobile health services in underserved areas, and coordination with hospitals and specialist healthcare providers will help bring essential services closer to the people.
To ensure sustainable healthcare development, we will promote preventive health education, sanitation, safe drinking water, mental health awareness, and regular medical checkups. We will encourage the effective use of digital health records, transparent medicine distribution, and accountable healthcare service delivery. Coordination with provincial and federal governments, healthcare professionals, and community organizations will help improve service quality and expand access to essential treatment. Through practical planning, responsible management, and community participation, our goal is to build a healthier Chandrakot where every family can access timely healthcare, prevent avoidable suffering, and live with dignity, security, and peace of mind.
