Infrastructure

Safe Roads, Clean Water: Connecting Our Wards for Lasting Growth.

Reliable physical infrastructure is the backbone of growth and everyday comfort in Chandrakot Rural Municipality. Safe roads, clean drinking water, electricity, and sturdy public buildings make daily travel easy, improve health, and support local business activities in every village.

We commit to improving essential public physical facilities in all eight wards. Our main focus will be blacktopping major rural roads and building strong concrete drains on hill routes, including roads connecting key centers like Shantipur, Majuwa, Harachaur, Rupakot, Turang, and Gwaha. This will allow smooth traffic movement throughout the entire year, even during heavy monsoon rains. We will construct safe motorable bridges and suspension bridges over rivers like Badighat and Hugdi Khola so that children and farmers can travel safely in all weather conditions.

To ensure health and cleanliness, we will work toward supplying safe tap water directly to every home through organized water supply projects in settlements across Divrung, Bishukharka, Harewa, and nearby areas. We will install solar streetlights in major markets, health centers, and school zones to keep public spaces safe at night. All ward offices and community halls will be updated to be accessible for elderly people and citizens with physical disabilities. Through quality work and regular repairs, our municipal infrastructure will remain safe, durable, and beneficial for all citizens.
