Creating local employment is essential to keep our energetic youth in Chandrakot Rural Municipality and build a strong local economy. Giving young people meaningful work opportunities close to home keeps families together and brings lasting development to our villages.

We commit to creating local job opportunities by focusing on skill development, small village enterprises, and public work projects. We will establish a local skill training center in Shantipur to offer practical courses in building construction, house wiring, plumbing, motor repair, carpentry, and basic computer skills. Training programs designed for women will focus on tailoring, handicraft production, food processing, and commercial poultry keeping. We will assist small entrepreneurs by offering simple business registration at ward offices and connecting them with low-interest credit options to start small enterprises.

To assist returnee workers and youth seeking employment, we will set up a dedicated employment service desk that links local job seekers with municipal infrastructure projects and agricultural cooperatives. Local residents will be prioritized for all road maintenance, drinking water, and public building works in all eight wards. We will also encourage small processing factories for local produce like oranges, ginger, and milk. Through practical skills, small business support, and village-level enterprises, our young adults will gain steady income and financial security within their own homeland.
