Tourism holds great promise for generating new income and promoting the culture of Chandrakot Rural Municipality. Our scenic green hills, historic temples, lakes, and clear rivers create a welcoming environment for visitors who enjoy natural beauty and local traditions.

We commit to developing eco-tourism and cultural heritage sites in an organized and environmentally friendly way. We will build safe walking paths, clean resting spots, and proper signboards around sacred sites such as Chandrakot Temple, Chakreshwar Temple, Divrung Temple, and Siddhababa Temple. Natural water spots, including Timure Lake, Dah Lake, and Arjewa Waterfall, will be conserved and upgraded into clean picnic destinations with proper waste management. Peaceful hilltop spots like Patechaur and Rumale Danda will be promoted for scenic nature views and day hikes.

To ensure local families gain directly from visitors, we will help community members in traditional villages set up comfortable home-stay facilities. Local home-stay operators will receive simple training in hospitality, hygiene, and local cooking. We will publish tourist maps and showcase Chandrakot online as a peaceful destination for natural beauty and warm hill hospitality. These tourism efforts will create new opportunities for village shops, transport operators, and farmers while preserving our natural environment and historical heritage for future generations.
